The First Aircraft to Land at Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport

Western Sydney International will be a world class smart airport built to service 10 million passengers a year from the day it opens in 2026. It’s exciting news for the region as the first aircraft has just landed, marking a pivotal time in the airport’s construction. WSI has also recently announced a brand-new cargo facility involving Qantas Group and Menzies Aviation AU, meaning overseas mail will be quicker, farmers can send produce internationally faster than ever, and small business can operate more efficiently. The facility will create more than 2,000 jobs during construction and 19,000 jobs directly and indirectly, once operational.  Looking for some free school holiday activities?
